One puzzle page, on the house.
Each month we make one large print word search with a hidden message and one cryptogram with a few letters given, with the answers, for home printing.
We use your address only to send the monthly puzzle page. One email a month with the new PDF, nothing else. Reply ‘stop’ to any email and we take you off the list. Trouble with the box? Use the plain form.
How the puzzles are made
We make these original puzzles with the same programs we use for our paperbacks. Each month's pack is made for this page, not taken from a book. Both puzzles are checked by computer before they go up: every listed word appears exactly once in the grid, the leftover letters spell the hidden message, and the cryptogram decodes correctly.
If a single page turns into a whole evening, that is what our books are for: large print puzzle books with ninety-odd puzzles each, printed and sold by Amazon.

Is this really free?
Yes. The pack on this page is free to download, print and solve, for personal use. A new one replaces it each month.
Can I print it for a parent, a classroom or a care home group?
Please do - that is exactly who the large letters are for. Print as many copies as you need for a parent, a classroom or a care home group. Please ask us before selling the puzzles or putting them in a product for sale.
What does large print mean here?
In this pack, the word list is 16 point, the word-search grid letters are 20 point, and the cryptogram's code letters are 19 point - the same large print floor (16 point and up on every page) that our paperbacks are built to.
Where did last month's puzzles go?
Each pack is replaced by the next one. If you would like the new pack sent to you when it arrives, use the email box above.
